*Very Urgent Requirement Need a Consultant Immediately* ! Job Title : C++ Mobile Platform Software Developer. Location : NYC, NY. Duration : 6 month+ contract Overview : Will develop platform components and support partners to leverage them in their products. Responsibilities : Will need to become an expert in our internal software packages, written in C/C++ Will be asked to contribute to shared libraries, and develop code to be leveraged by partners Will be responsible for porting and ensuring the functionality of our core libraries on Linux Will contribute test collateral based on partner experiences to our core test harness May be invited to contribute to Android, Windows Mobile and other projects, time permitting Qualifications : 5+ years of client (desktop/mobile) software development Expert-level understanding of C/C++ Intermediate-level understanding of Java Basic understanding of SQL, XML A passion for gadgets and hardware Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Proven ability to learn new programming languages and keep abreast of latest technologies Experience with Agile development practices and philosophies a plus.
