They do NOT want someone who has performed Windows Exchange migrations, they rather need a generalist for this position. Person needs to know everything about Exchange itself and worked with it on a day to day basis. They have 8000 mailboxes here . This person is essentially a back-up person for the Exchange administrator who is overloaded with work. They would prefer to bring on a consultant who has worked in a small shop, and would have had broad responsibility with Exchange tasks. They must be able to set up new users, they use Exchange for calendaring, move users , run calendars in mailboxes,, know the structure of Exchange. Powershell is a big component as they rely on it. They are currently on MS 2003 OS, will be migrating at some point to 2008. That is not an essential piece. The phone screen will be from the Exchange admin who will ask a series of questions to determine how well the consultant knows Exchange 2007, it will have nothing to do with migration of Exchange, etc. * * * *Another important piece is that there is an initial phone screen then a face to face, so people should be able to report to a face to face interview.. This position could go much longer than one year. College degree is NOT necessary.* -- Full name: Number: Email id: Rate: Location: 2 References: At least provide one American references.
