*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Looking for Ead , GC and Citizen QA Tester Location : Valley Forge, PA Duration : 6+MonthContract Rate : $35-37/hr on CTC Job Description/Responsibilities: As a software quality assurance tester, you will participate with a team of others to complete quality assurance related activities, including analysis, test preparation and test execution activities for a web based application. Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents to identify testing needs. Develop solid test documentation, including the creation, maintenance and execution of Test Plans and Test Cases(manual and/or automated) Support of conversion, system, interface, and user acceptance testing efforts Maintain documentation of quality assurance activities in the appropriate project repositories, e.g., Mercury Quality Center or SharePoint. Execution of test sets to validate the software is working as expected. Exhibit knowledge of regression and performance monitoring automated testing tools (such as QTP and LoadRunner) Analyze software problems, provide clear and concise defect reports and follow defect tracking practices based on internal QA standards and processes. Communicate with both technical and non-technical project team members to support the analysis, design, testing, troubleshooting and mitigation of project issues and risk as necessary. Provide regular status updates as necessary Conduct all work in compliance with established PNC policies, methodologies, and standards Required Skills/Experience 5-7 years testing experience (manual and/or automated) Experience in development of functional, non-functional, and regression test scripts for web based application (manual and automated) Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and best practices in regards to software testing Proficiency in Back-End testing specifically with developing and executing SQL queries to interact with Databases.
