*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** QA Lead Position Location : Lawrenceville, GA Duration : 6+ Months Contract Resposibilities: The SW Quality Assurance Lead for this position coordinates and leads the testing activities for the G7 project. They will support the day to day testing activities and work with the customers to ensure that we are meeting established entrance and exit criteria. Additional responsibilities will include creating test metrics and reports, coordinating and prioritizing testing of requirements for each Code Release into test, lead Software Requirement reviews with members of the Test, Development, Program Management, and other teams, create CR reports for review by the project team, and facilitate the Release Readiness review prior to all external releases. Additionally, the successful candidate should have experience creating Master Test Plans, coordinating testing efforts across global teams, worked with or as part of a virtual team, Required: 9+ years of industry related experience. 5+ years of experience in software QA or software development with desire to work in QA. Experience leading software teams, preferably in a development, testing, or project management role. Experience with the SDLC process and the ability to coordinate leading test teams through each phase. Experience with creating documentation such as Master Test Plans, Test Matrixes, etc. Experience producing quality metrics and defect tracking reports for presentation to internal and external teams. Experience working with defect tracking tools such as Clarify, Adminitrack, Bugzilla, Quality Center Defect Module, etc. Automation or development experience in PERL and Python scripting languages is required. Should be able to develop tools that will improve team’s efficiency. Programming experience in any of Java / C / C++. Experience creating reports using the reporting modules in TIMS and Quality Center/Test Director. Experience working with Test Management Tools. Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate to all levels of the project team. Strong interpersonal skills backed up by professional ability to work independently as well as a team member. People skills to work within a Project Team environment. Ability to work in a fast pace environment. Ability to multi-task and work on various projects and tasks. Have an understanding of embedded networked products. Have knowledge and experience with black box, functional, performance, stability, and regression testing. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
