Location- Providence, RI Duration- 6-12 Months Contract He DOES NEED the following: A candidate that can provide user interface with SDK along with standard Cognos skills. program in metadata provide custom authentication well rounded with strong communication skills The manager will first do phone interviews then a face to face if all goes well. Candidate must be somewhat local and able to accommodate a face to face. This division represents over 900 providers (doctors offices). Currently the system that is in place will not allow these providers to do any custom or adhoc reporting and they don't give these providers access to the database. The new system that is being developed will allow this feature that's why it is imperative that this candidate has a strong understanding of programming with metadata and security protocols. This position requires in-depth knowledge of Cognos from an overall architecture level including building Cognos metadata, dashboards and reports in a multi-tenant, SaaS environment. It also requires knowledge of data warehouse concepts including star schema's, dimensions and fact tables. This position requires the ability to create cognos metadata and to be able to setup that metadata to be highly optimized and user friendly. We are not looking for a cognos report developer but rather someone that can help architect the environment.
