*Please send the matching resumes, rate and contact number for the below requirement.* *Sr. QA Engineer (5 Open Positions)* Location: El Segundo, CA (Locals, F2F interview) Duration: 6 month+ contract (most likely 1-2 years) Hourly: $40/hour *Notes:* · Working mostly on back-end systems (scripting type of work). · The things that client will look for 100% in a resume include: o UNIX or any flavor of LINUX (Sun Solaris, Ubunto, etc) will be essential o Experience with SOA architecture is a must - 90% o Experience with Open source tools like SOAPUI, JMeter, Eclipse is essential o Some knowledge of SQL or any database is required o QA/Testing background preferred · If the candidate doesn’t have certifications or degree, they don't care as much. They would like the candidate to be a strong QA. · Preferred no H1B's but if we can't find anyone then they will work with H1Bs · In the long term, around one year or so of contracting they prefer to hire the candidates direct. Although there is no plan currently to hire directly. It will be a contract for a minimum of 6 months through Prosum Consulting and definitely have a potential to go for 1-2 years on contract. *Position Summary* Looking for a seasoned Sr. QA Engineer (5 openings) who has strong computer science fundamentals. This is a great position for a self-starter with strong technical and organization skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work and lead projects with limited supervision. It also requires experience with developing and deploying QA strategies and best practices. *Responsibilities* This is not an all inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities required of this position: · Develop, manage and execute test plans and test cases. · Generate test reports and traceability matrix. · Ability to decompose high-level business requirements into test scenarios. · Setup and maintain test environments. · Deploy software in Linux environment from .jar and .war files. · Build automated data-driven test harnesses. · Investigate and conduct root cause analysis of software and system defects. · Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others. · Mentor and supervise more junior members of the team. *Required Skills* · Hands-on experience with White Box, Grey Box, and Black Box testing. · Strong UNIX experience is a must. · Knowledge of relational database concepts and good SQL skills. · Hands-on experience testing and debugging Java-based software (J2EE, JBoss, JMS). · Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture and messaging protocols. · Experience testing Web Services. · Hands-on knowledge of open-source tools and platforms (e.g. SoapUI, JMeter, Eclipse). · Proficient in one of programming or scripting languages. *Desirable Skills* Ideal candidate will also possess the following: · Solid understanding of Software Configuration Management concepts and methodologies. · Proficiency with one of the source control tools (e.g. ClearCase, Subversion, CVS). · Experience with Load, Stress and Performance testing. · BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
