*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Oracle DBA Location : Mineola, NY Duration : 3 YEAR PROJECT Required: A fully certified Oracle DBA with the following expertise: Extensive Oracle Database knowledge and experience (version 10g) Extensive Unix experience Extensive experience as a Oracle RDBMS production database administration Knowledge and experience in the installation and configuration of Oracle RAC Experience in supporting routine production database support functions such as checking for table-space free space, checking for fragmentation, checking for nightly/weekly backup status, checking production databases for critical errors such as ORA-600, ORA-7445 error, dead- locks, and creating SRs with Oracle tech support Experience with setup/configuration/maintenance of DB backup solutions including hot backup, RMAN, Shadow Image or BCV solutions Experience configuring Oracle Disaster Recovery solutions Experience with setup/maintenance of OEM Grid Control to proactively monitor production databases. Experience with Capacity planning and growth forecast tools/scripts Experience in applying upgrades/ patches. Extensive experience with Change Assistant.
