Position : *BUSINESS OBJECTS DEVELOPER*
Location : PLANO, Texas

2. If so, where used and how many years experience?
3. Do you have experience with *Crystal Reports*, or Xcelcius or/and QAAWS?

Experiences and Skill Sets Required:*
Must have a thorough knowledge of basic and advanced design techniques for
the Business Objects Universe Designer WebI application. A plus if the
individual has proven experience with Crystal Reports and Xcelcius and
QAAWS.
Must understand project lifecycle methodology and be able to take
development projects through that methodology.
Must be able to interface effectively with the DBA team for tuning efforts,
including understanding basic tuning for the target database and the ability
to know what can / cannot be changed within the universe to fit the DBA team
requests. Must have an extremely detailed understanding of SQL to be able to
validate the correctness of data and report.
Must be able to work efficiently with the report design team in order to
suggest report solutions or implement universe (or even database) changes to
solve report challenges.
Must be able to talk with the business users to determine requirements. This
includes the ability to recognize and suggest improvements to the design
requirements in order to facilitate their delivery.
Must have strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills with
demonstrated experience documenting and working through issues as part of a
team.
Ability to multitask a must.
Superior client communication skills in face to face, remote and email
presentations and email.
Highly organized, dedicated and motivated with a positive attitude
Problem solver/team player, with proven leadership qualities
Excellent written/oral/interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*Desired Technical Skills*:
BS/BA degree required
Minimum 5 years of BusinessObjects experience in Universe Design, WebI
Report Creation and support
5+ years relevant Business Objects Developer/Analyst experience
5+ years experience in developing complex Business Objects reports,
universes, VBA scripting and scheduling
Proven Experience with products in the Business Objects XIR2 Suite Required:
Business Objects Enterprise Premium XIR2 and understanding of XI 3.1, Web
Intelligence, Crystal Reports Developer, Crystal Xcelcius, MS Office
Integration with XIR2
Documented experience with the following BusinessObjects Platforms, versions
and products required:
- AIX, HP-UX, WinIntel
- Oracle/DB2 required; Terradata/SQL Serve desired
- WebI, Crystal Reports, Crystal Xcelcius, Dashboard Manager
- Designer
- CMC (Security, Setup, Configuration) and Scheduler
