Currently we are hiring for the position of Salesforce.com Technical Architect. The Salseforce.com Technical Architect will serve as the subject matter expert for the technical implementation, architecture and administration of Salesforce.com. Conduct ongoing business analysis, architectural design and manage development and release activities as well as provide ongoing support. Responsible for enhancements, upgrades, data conversions, and custom development for multiple business groups with varying needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Own the technical implementation, deployment and release process for enterprise-wide implementation of Salesforce.com. • Review changes prior to deployment to ensure best practices are followed and provide knowledge transfer to other Salesforce.com admins to increase the knowledge level across the organization. • Act as mentor less experienced admins/developers. • Provide Salesforce.com administration including , advanced configuration such as creating and managing custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, and approval processes. Understand all aspects of Salesforce.com configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including changes and potential system implications. • Serve as architect on all integration projects for systems communicating with Salesforce.com. • Partner directly with the business to ensure deep understanding of Altisource business and the business’ requirements to execute successfully on projects. • Provide operational support including user and security management, hierarchies, roles, lead import and management and view creation. • Develop and manage custom objects, workflow to automate manual processes, page layouts and fields within the Salesforce application. • Support sales operations by facilitating lead generation projects through integration and automation. • Perform data integrity and manipulation tasks such as mass-merging duplicate records and establishing proper ownership of existing accounts and contacts in accordance with sales territories. • Implement new products and packages within Salesforce and communicate updates throughout the company. • Maintain high-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality. • Establish and implement best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, release planning and data integrity. • Participate in day-to-day end-user support (including system configuration, complex formulas and system maintenance) and assist users with proactive best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com. • Analyze existing processes and make recommendations to better streamline and optimize the overall sales operations process within Salesforce.com. • Work with marketing department to optimize campaign management. • Rollout new and manage existing Salesforce apps. • Ensure adoption and adherence to Salesforce.com governance framework and usage guidelines. Desired Skills and Experience Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: • Requires Salesforce.com Certified Developer (DEV401) certification; • 8+ years of SF development experience including extensive API and middleware use • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline • 5+ years of CRM administration and operational support, ideally with Salesforce.com • Familiarity with relational databases and related concepts • Excellent oral and written communication, training, presentation, and organizational skills • Self-motivated and managed, exceptional follow-through • Ability to independently prioritize and complete tasks in a structured manner • Strong ability to interface and cultivate good working relationships across departments • Strong problem solving and analysis skills • Ability to work and deliver under tight deadlines • Expert in Salesforce workflows, UI design, reporting, dashboarding, and app rollouts • Must have experience working with Salesforce custom (and standard) objects • Expert knowledge of Salesforce Dot Com (“SFDC”) object mode • Use of Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools (e.g. Marketing automation software) • Apex and Visualforce development skills and experience required. • Salesforce Object Query Language (“SOQL”)/SQL skills highly desired Preferred: • Salesforce.com Architect certification underway desired. • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (“ ETL”) and cloud integration tools highly desired • Excel proficiency • Experience with marketing automation tools Thanks Sharon Kolluru - Sr Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
