*Role: SQL DBA* *Location: Chicago IL* *Duration: 6month contract * *Mode of interview: phone then onsite* *USC /GC ONLY* *Must Haves:* - BS in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems / Management Information Systems - 8+ years of professional work experience in IT environment - 5+ years of experience with SQL Server 2008 R2, SSIS, Replication services, - 3+ years Database administration experience - SSAS, SSRS (troubleshoot) - Previous SQL development experience *Plusses:* - Microsoft certification in database discipline is a plus. *Day to Day: *Primary resource responsible for all production database environments. Creates databases and database maintenance procedures. Oversees overall health of database servers and all associated services. - With minimal supervision, install, configure and upgrade SQL Servers (currently 2005, planning to upgrade to 2014) - Maintain backup and recovery solutions for all database servers.
