(No GUI testers.)* *• Must be located in Jacksonville with no travel or relocation expenses.* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest workforce management and IT staffing firm, has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Test Engineer for a client in the transportation industry. As the Sr. Test Engineer, you will oversee a test laboratory, simulation tool set, and comprehensive staff to assist with validation of this system deployment. The position is located in Jacksonville, FL, and this is a long-term contract engagement. *Responsibilities of the Sr. Test Engineer:* o Develop system test requirements, plans, test cases, and test procedures. o Develop system test concepts for laboratory and field tests. o Oversee network and system testing in lab and field environments. o Assist in client's transition to new systems and technologies. o Assist in field testing and troubleshooting. *Required Experience of the Sr. Test Engineer:* o Seven (7) or more years of experience in testing large, distributed systems. o Experience should include one (1) year in a systems-level technical leadership position, and experience coordinating system design or test. o Three (3) or more years of experience in preparing system documentation, test plans, or test procedures. o Experience in application of structured systems engineering processes, including test planning and test execution. o Experience in working with customers on requirements, testing, and system documentation, with demonstrated skills in customer interaction. o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to generate complex technical documents. o Experience presenting technical plans or speaking on technical topics to project teams, clients or other groups as required. o Ability to work on problems of diverse scope and multiple technologies. o Ability to work independently or with cross functional teams as required. o Experience working with software tools such as requirements traceability, test planning, automated test execution, or configuration management. *Desired Experience of the Sr. Test Engineer:* o Knowledge of HP Quality Center. o Experience with message-based systems testing. *Education or Certification Requirements:* o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred, PMP or PE a plus. *Thanks and Regards-:* *Gagandeep | RJT Compuquest Inc. 222 N,Sepulveda Blvd., Suite 2250 , El Segundo, CA 90245 [email protected] <[email protected]> www.rjtcompuquest.com <http://www.rjtcompuquest.com/>* *Voice: 310-448-1837 (Ext.= 623) Fax: 310-378-6867 <310-378-6867>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
