POSITION: SAP Developer (Business objects) LOCATION: Vienna, VA Please find below a new requirement for a SAP Developer in Vienna, VA supporting our direct client. To design, develop, implement and maintain new IT solutions, or changes/enhancements to existing solutions that align with business initiatives and corporate strategies. BS or BA degree in computer science or related field; Or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture and development of enterprise business intelligence solutions using SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 and 4.1. 5-7 years of solid experience of developing Business Object Universes within the XI platform with reporting experience. Solid understanding of Universe Design Tool and the Information Design Tool. Experience in upgrading and moving content from XI3.1 to XI4.1. Expert report developer using Web, Dashboard Design (Xcelsius), and Crystal Reports. Experience using Promotion Management Tool to move BI content between environments. *Minimum 8 years of hands on experience in one or more areas*: Data warehouse, business intelligence, data analytics, data transformation, data architecture and data management. Practical understanding of analytical solutions using structured and unstructured content. Experience working directly with the business in defining, and developing solutions is required. Must be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Routinely search for innovative ways to improve existing BI applications. Demonstrates a solid understanding of data analytics, including sampling and profiling of data. Strong SQL skills are required. Understands capabilities of key technologies and assess applicability to a business problem. Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work well with people with varying degrees of technical experience.
