To attain the services of one (1) Consultant to develop web applications
and web services as a backend framework to the mobile computing
environment.
*DUTIES*
The Consultant shall perform all of the following duties below:
• Work with CSS Information Technology analysts to identify the
core impact processes within each major program and document the associated
technology gaps.
• Install and configure a PHP development framework.
• Build the requisite database objects to support the specified
data model.
• Configure the application security layer within the framework to
incorporate multi-factor authentication.
• Build common interface controls to be utilized throughout the
framework.
• Develop interactive forms utilizing AJAX with PHP.
• Develop REST web services the produce and consume data in JSON
format
• Work closely with mobile developers to ensure precise integration
and event handling.
• Train CSS staff and provide supporting procedures.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
The Consultant must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:
1. Three (3) years of experience in the past five (5) years working
with subject matter experts to develop scope specifications for web and
mobile applications.
2. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years
writing application design specifications.
3. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years
developing web applications in PHP with some exposure to version 5.6 or
greater.
4. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years
installing and configuring a major PHP development framework such as
Laravel, Symfony, Cake or Phalcon.
5. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years
developing with a PHP framework such as Laravel, Symfony, Cake or Phalcon.
6. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years
installing and configuring Apache HTTP version 2.4 or greater.
7. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years
building database objects in MySql 5.6 or greater.
8. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years
building PHP web services that publish and consume data in JSON format.
