Should assign work, plan work for the developers - mix of onshore and offshore. * * Description: * *LEAD UI DEVELOPER Seeking an experienced Lead UI Developer to become an integral part of their established eCommerce team. The Lead UI Developer should have significant experience developing in enterprise-level environments, previous global experience is ideal as you will be working with offshore development teams. The ideal Lead UI Developer will also be able to plan and assign work as well as be a mentor to junior developers. Must have excellent communication skills to work with the internal product and creative teams. Skills: 5+ years experience as a UI and/or Front End Developer Expertise in UI best practices and technologies, specifically: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, and Bootstrap Angular and React experience is desired Previous experience leading projects or in a Lead role Able to develop single page web apps using Front-end routing, consuming JSON-based RESTful APIs, client-side templating Very strong skills in responsive designs utilizing CSS and UI frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery, Material Design, etc.) Experience working with server side JavaScript Frameworks and build tools (node.js, bower, grunt, gulp) Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (in particular Git) Experience working on larger-scale projects with a variety of members and varying skill sets. Experience working on local and international projects Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Good Interpersonal skills, strong problem solving skills and time management skills.
