*Java Software Developer –Southlake, TX - 6+month contract - $50/hr CTC* The Developer will be part of Sabre's category leading Agency Point of Sale application: Sabre Red Workspace 3.0 (SRW). The co-located team is tasked with the following: -Work with Product Marketing to identify workflow data that needs to be captured -Enhance SRW 3.0 Codebase to collect identified metrics -Push collected data into Sabre's Big Data System (Hadoop Data Lake) - Support Sabre's Enterprise Data Analytics Platform (EDAP) team in generating business insight EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years related experience REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be fully proficient with Java programming language and various Java EE technologies. Thorough knowledge and hands on experience with Spring, Hibernate and web services is a must. Demonstrated knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design Experience in XML/Web Services technologies Application development experience using HTML, CSS and JavaScript Ability and desire to learn and work with new languages and technologies as needed. Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal Preferred Skills: Experience with build tools Ant/Maven/Gradle/Jenkins Experience in JMS/MOM, JBoss, JMX, Drools a plus Knowledgeable in test aspects of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) PREFERRED SKILLS: Agile experience is a plus Understanding of TDD practices and experience with JUnit/Unit Testing *Thanks & Regards!
