Duration: 12 Months Plus Interview: Face-To-Face Max Rate: 38/hr C2C Hiring Manager Note: This is an excellent opportunity for a Linux administrator to pick up Hadoop cluster management. *Required skills:* · Experience with Dell and HP OEM systems management including iDrac and ILOM · RedHat Linux -Systems Administration · Focus and follow through with OEM vendors -Work independently · Red hat Linux and experience with DELL or HP OEM systems is highly preferred *Roles:* · Will be supporting the Hardware Remediation and cluster health. · Under supervision, will be responsible for the documentation, design, implementation, administration and support of distributed computer system servers running CentOs and RHEL. · Provide technical support for application system upgrades and be responsible for changes to operating system software. Analyze performance and implement changes to ensure the stability of servers; proactively monitor and maintain servers; troubleshoot system problems and provide solutions; define operating procedures and system best practice. · Perform ILO upgrades, remediate hardware, engage vendors on support and maintain SLAs for cluster health. · Remediate Dell and HP systems and coordinate with vendors · Manage Dell and HP support relationship · Building Hadoop clusters -Redhat Imaging of systems and patching.
