Sr. Mobile Business Analyst 12+ month contract position Atlanta, GA MUST REQUIRED -Travelport’s ticketing and reservation Essential skills: Strong background in two of the following areas required: - Airline IT - Mobile application/web development - Agile project methodology Qualifications: The Senior Business Analyst position on the eCommerce mobile team will be responsible for leading eCommerce initiatives in support of the internal and/or external customer(s). This individual will be a liaison between the business and technology counterparts and will be expected to master an understanding of both eCommerce and mobile ecosystems, capabilities, and respective technologies. The Senior Business Analyst will assist in analysis, evaluation, implementation, and support of systems developed both internally and externally with an outside vendor. The Senior Business Analyst will lead business counterparts, other IT portfolios/matrix teams, and vendors full project cycle using Agile methodology principles. Individual will be expected to gather, document, and communicate parameters of projects, including the user stories/requirements, scope, design and timeline, and lead those efforts to completion. Support the development team by assisting with sprint planning, liaising with matrix teams and supporting unit testing. Maintain and communicate project status reports, dependencies and monitor scope change. Develop and manage user acceptance criteria and support QA processes to ensure system is functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well integrated. This individual will be expected to troubleshoot, coordinate, and maintain production systems/programs/applications, as needed. Research, analyze and respond to both internal and external customer complaints/suggestions and feedback. Must work independently and efficiently, often without direct supervision, and be able to mentor and develop other team members. Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables simultaneously. Individual should possess the ability to resolve problems in a calm and quick manner and should display a high degree of initiative and drive. Maintain continuous communication with customer and team members and promote a team environment. Key qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration with five (5) or more years of IT and/or business experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training. • Functional knowledge of popular mobile ecosystems • Functional knowledge of airline business or airline IT processes • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies • Knowledge of collaboration tools such as JIRA or similar a plus • Understanding of general eCommerce solutions and principles • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities streamline current processes • Must possess analytical, oral and written communication skills.
