*Position – Middleware Engineer*
*Location: Richmond, VA*
*Interview Process: 2 phone/Skype*
*Term: 4 month initial contract, renewable*
*Core Skills: Java, CI/CD tools (Jenkins), AWS deployment experience*

*Responsibilities:*
- Owning project/service delivery
- Writing best quality code
- Collaborating with other platforms tech leads to ensure integrated
end-to-end design and delivery
- Supporting QA during testing, and owning implementation to production
- Proactive monitoring of applications and services
- Identifying gaps and taking actions to completion
- Actively mentoring junior engineers
- Presenting at communities of practices
*Basic Qualifications:*
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- At least 5 years of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
using Java EE technologies for Middleware and Backend Integration
- At least 3 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs using Spring
and Jersey or similar frameworks and deploying on public cloud like AWS
- At least 1 Year experience in Database technologies like RDBMS, SQL,
No-SQL, RDS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- 3 years experience in Cloud related technologies like AWS, Azure,
OpenStack, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Terraform
- 3 years experience in Build and CICD technologies like SVN, GitHub,
Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar
- 3 Years experience in Quality Assurance technologies like ATDD, Selenium,
Cucumber, JUnit, SoapUI, Postman
- 3 years experience in Unix Shell Scripting
- Experience of Tuning, Performance Testing and Production Monitoring using
tools like HP Diagnostics, JMeter, Splunk, BlueStripe, CloudWatch, Zabbix
- Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban
- Certified in Java, Spring, AWS or related technologies
