Position: Senior C++ Developer with Real time data feeds Location: Chicago ,IL Duration:18+ Months Main Skills : C++ 11, Real time, Low latency, data feeds, STL, performance Description The Thomson Reuters Collections Development Team focuses on bringing data into the Elektron system, and normalizing into a client consumable data model. The Development Group engages in design, development, and testing of these high-speed financial applications in a real-time environment. We are a global network of developers, and everyone engages in a high degree of collaboration across the global team. The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging. Projects will utilize a multitude of different languages and skill sets, including C++, and a small amount of DB work. The heaviest focus is on C++ and object-oriented development, and we are aggressive in using the latest features of *C++ (C++11)*. Projects center around both the Linux and Windows operating systems, with a heavy focus on Linux.
