*Duration: **3+ Months*
*Skill set:* Lawson ERP with Windows 2003 and WebSphere.
PROJECT
For our Lawson test and production environments, migrate our Win 2003 web
servers (one for test and one for prod) to Win 2008.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Our Lawson test and production environments each include an AIX 6.1
application server, AIX 6.1 database server, and a windows 2003 web server.
The Lawson Environment version is 9.0.1.10 with a combination of laua and
LS security, and user access is a combination of LID and Portal.
The servers supporting our test environment contain three Lawson
environments (DEV, QA, and UAT).
The servers supporting our production environment contain one Lawson
environment (PROD).
TASKS
Focusing first on our three Lawson test environments, we need to perform
the following tasks while we continue to operate with our Win 2003 web
servers:
· AD LDS – for each of the three test environments
· install AD LDS on the Win 2008 web server
· migrate ADAM data from Win 2003 web server to Win 2008 web server
· perform any required updates for each corresponding Lawson
environment on the AIX application server
· WebSphere - for each of the three test environments
· create an additional WebSphere instance on our application server
· perform any required updates for each corresponding Lawson
environment on the Win 2008 web server
· Portal – for each of the three test environments
· migrate our Lawson portal installation
· perform any required updates for each corresponding Lawson
environment on the AIX application server
· IIS – for each of the three test environments
· create an IIS instance similar to what exists on our existing Win
2003 server
· perform any required updates for each corresponding Lawson
environment on the AIX application server
· When the above task is complete we will need to prepare a second
Win 2008 web server for our test environment such that WSI can implement
load balancing for those two web servers.
· The two tasks above will need to be implemented for our
production environment.
