Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 6+ Months *Skills: Data Governance ,**Metadata, Data Retention, Data Quality, Stewardship,* *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Person needed to support activities for the Managing Data Steward for Retail Data Management program. Work with Managing Data Steward team and source system Data Stewards to ensure data deliverables are met. Metadata - Documenting existing metadata, creating metadata where needed; Validation of definitions and valid values, and loading metadata into the Metadata Hub Lineage - Validation of manual and automated lineage in various enterprise tools Data Quality - Ensure data requirements are fulfilled and enable monitoring and reporting Reporting and Visualization - Maintain or creation of Dashboards using visualization tools such as Tableau, R-Shiny, D3.js) *Skills:* • Excellent Process/Project Management and/or business systems analysis skills • Understanding of Data Governance concepts (Metadata, Data Retention, Data Quality, Stewardship, etc) • Prefer Experience with Ab Initio Metadata Hub • Prefer Experience in Metadata Management or other Data Governance activities • Prefer experience in Tableau or open source technologies (R, R-Shiny, D3.js, etc) • Excellent communication skills • Fully qualified in all routine and typical aspects of the role • Frequently uses and applies appropriate standards, principle theories, concepts and techniques. • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. • Provides solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. • Works under general supervision and follows established procedures.
