Role -: Mainframe Tester Location: Richardson, TX Duration -: 1+ years Rates -:: 40/hr c2c or 1099 Any Visa will work OPT, CPT, EAD, GC EAD, H1B, TN Relevant Experience (Yrs) : Should have over 4 - 6 years Good Testing experience. Exposure to Mainframe/AS400 is additional advantage Technical/Functional Skills : 1. Knowledge / use of Quality Center products is required 2. 5+ years working in QA testing environment utilizing manual and automated scripts 3. Exposure to testing on mainframe or AS/400 applications is additional advantage 4. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 5. Broad knowledge of QA & development life cycles 6. Strong written and oral communication skills 7. Must have ability to create test plans, test scenarios based on test requirements, test data Roles & Responsibilities : 1. Develops & executes test cases from supplied documentation and testing experience 2. Participate in full test cycle, including: Integrated System Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing(UAT) 3. Documentation of all testing performed during effort 4. Defect tracking from initiation to completion 5. Interfacing with management, project managers, system analysts, developers 6. Working with Excel and home grown testing tools 7.
