*This is Neha from Apetan consulting,* *Please find the below job description and send me your update resume matching to it along with Contact details, Current location, Visa and Availability ASAP.* *POSITION: Cognos BI Report Engineer* *INTERVIEW: Phone/Skype Interview* *LOCATION: CT* *DURATION:6 MONTHS* *VISA:GC/USC ONLY* *START :ASAP* *Job Overview:* *Primary Duties and Responsibilities:* includes but not limited to: • Interviews end-users to determine their business and information requirements • Defines standards and procedures within the BI environment • Designs, develops and provides production support for reports • Designs and constructs OLAP cubes, data models, views and table structures required to support the business’ information requirements • Maintains and supports the Cognos business intelligence platform in a 24 hour/7 days a week environment • Creates, tunes and debugs SQL queries • Creates and maintains Metadata definitions • Expert knowledge of Data Profiling • Authorizes and maintains technical documentation including; data catalogues, logical diagrams and requirements documents • Works with no supervision on complex reporting objects • Provides Level II end user support and counseling for business intelligence and decision support tools • Produces reports using enterprise class reporting tools • Documents data, views and reports • Works with business and management to provide meaningful, efficient and accurate reports • Participates in integration, performance, and user acceptance testing for BI solutions • Mentors team members when required *Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:* • Promotes company ideology through a thorough understanding and implementation of its core values and core purposes • Able to support applications that are running in a 24 hour/7 days a week enterprise environment • Maintains accurate time reports for assigned activitiesaccording to company Information Systems policies • Carries and responds to off-hours communications device, in order to provide 24x7 support for systems under management. • Responsible for abiding by the privacy rules pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) *Minimum Education and Qualifications:* • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related a field. • Demonstrated knowledge with one or more business intelligence tools (e.g. Cognos, Business Objects, Hyperion, SAS). • Four years of progressive Information Technology experience • At least two years of experience working with Cognos BI report development • Obtains and maintains at least one or more applicable gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions *~OR~* • Associates’ Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field • Six years of progressive Information Technology experience • Two years of experience documenting requirements and designing end user reports in a business intelligenceenvironment • Demonstrated knowledge with one or more business intelligence tools (e.g. Cognos, Business Objects, Hyperion, SAS). • Obtains and maintains at least one or more applicable gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions -- *Neha Kumari |* *Technical Recruiter* | *Apetan Consulting LLC* Tel:201-620-9700* 106 | Fax: 201-526-6869 | 72 Van Reipen Avenue # 255 Jersey City, NJ 07306 | [email protected] | www.apetan.com | -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
