Title : Oracle Applications DBA (F2F Required) Location : Kansas City, MO. Duration : 6+ months contract. *The 2 most important applications are HRMS and payroll. * Oracle Applications DBA for a 3-6 month contract to hire position for our client in Kansas City, MO. The DBA will initial data and solution design, provide insight and direction from a data software perspective, assessment of impact on technology architectural standards and participation in the full development lifecycle of the capability being delivered. The focus is on physical architecture, database server performance and capacity planning, and ongoing support, maintenance, and operations including capacity and long term planning and execution. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring that architectural integrity and best practices are maintained at the project, program, and enterprise level. The DBA will lead a team of database administrators, ETL administrators, and other operational personnel, insuring work is being fulfilled in a timely fashion, training plans are maintained, and reviews are performed throughout the year. Responsibilities: -Perform backups and recovery processes, disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, and performance tuning -Serve as the lead technical resource when issues are encountered and need to be escalated to the highest levels of support for resolution -Promoting and applying architecture best practices and standards at a project, program and department level -Assist other database administrators, ETL administrators, and other assigned personnel to ensure best practice and governance is followed -Direct the activities of contractors and Oracle application DBA’s in the requirements definition, design, coding, and testing of sophisticated applications Requirements: -At least 5 years experience with Data Modeling tools -At least 2 years management of technical/support personnel -Experience managing software solutions projects that have a budget of at least $250,000 -At least 7 years of Oracle ERP Applications DBA experience with Oracle Applications – 11i (11.5.10.2); 11.5.8; 11.0.3; and preferably with Oracle 10.7 -Experience working on TRU 64 OS systems/Red Hat Linux Advanced Server with ability to create shell scripts and integrate them with Oracle Applications -Expertise with integrating Oracle Applications with STR Fax Manager; EDI translators (GXS and Biztalk); maintaining BEA Web Logic; maintaining open VMS; maintain open pages applications and database; decision point warehouse administrator. -Experience with Oracle Applications Financials/HRMS patches along with monthly vertex HRMS patches -Proven experience with upgrading Oracle databases from 8i to 9i and 10g, converting Oracle Applications from 11.0.3 to 11i, upgrading 11.5.8 to 11.5.10.2 and with database cloning and refresh - Experience with ER Studio, SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008), Database Design Theory (3NF), Source Control and Idera and/or Quest Management and Monitoring Tools -Must have permanent authorization to work for any employer without sponsorship Thanks and Best Regards, Amer Khan | Sr Technical Recruiter Panzer Solutions LLC 45 Stuart Ave, K Unit Norwalk CT 06850 USA Email: [email protected] Gtalk : amer.rec Direct: 203 971 8471 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
