KNOWLEDGE · SharePoint 2010 knowledge will include web part development, workflows, event handlers, web services development, server configuration, deploying and supporting an enterprise SharePoint implementation. · Demonstrated knowledge and development experience with Microsoft .NET technologies using Visual Studio is required (ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>3.x/4.x, C#, XML, etc.). · Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. · Knowledgeable writing Microsoft Power Shell Scripts. · Knowledge of Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS frameworks. · Knowledge of Subversion for version control is a plus. EXPERIENCE · Extensive coding experience with SharePoint web parts, features, workflows, event handlers, web services, etc. Minimum version MOSS 2007/WSS 3.0. Prefer SharePoint 2010 experience. · Extensive experience coding with .Net in an enterprise using Visual Studio. · Experience working with software design principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. · Experience with SharePoint Designer. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS · Design, document and implement custom SharePoint code within the SDLC process. · Provide on-going support for existing applications · Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint sites · Provide consultation on SharePoint customization projects for other developers QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred. · Four or more years of experience in software development. · Strong technical writing skills · Strong analytical and problem solving skills OTHER QUALIFICATIONS · Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve highly complex software design issues and create new software for multiple products. · Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior customers, management and team members. · Strong communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
