Pursuant to this, these engineers support pre-contract discussions, support of software test requirements, development of software test descriptions and test cases, performing Formal Qualification Testing and generating Software Test Reports. During the requirement and design phases, these engineers will coordinate heavily between other engineers and both internal and external customers. *Responsibilities* *Responsibilities & Tasks:* - Provide inputs for program BOEs, ETCs, and IMS. - Generate metrics and status reports for the team. - Provide technical mentoring to juniors. - Act with technical independence pursuant toward successful completion of programs. - Other related duties as assigned by supervisor. - Conduct Regression Testing for monthly AntiVirus/Security Updates prior to release to Nogales - Develop Test Plan, Test Steps for each corrected defect and test prior to release for Quarterly/Monthly releases - Coordinate review and test plan acceptance by PEM, SW Lead, associated developers - Store test plan and review comments and corrections in Perforce - Document execution and complete associated defect correction. - Install executable for each system undergoing test and validate version (e.g. BCA Server, BCA client, TGSI Server) - Document environment (SIL) deficiencies and coordinate environment corrections - On-Site installation and test per plan - On-site integration testing during site bring up (may require greater than 1 week stay) - Understanding of network routing and high level network topology - Daily review current defects for “Fixed” and assigned to test - Plan/schedule testing execution and needed resources *Authorities:* - Software test project artifacts. - Schedule and budget of software test project. *Business Relationships:* - Integration – Verification – Test functional management. - Coordination with peers and leaders in other functional departments. - Coordination with TPM, PM and Marketing/Business Development Units. *Qualifications* *Education Qualifications: **(Highest Level Required/Preferred/Optional):* *Bachelor - Required* Specific Degree Field: *Computer Science or Software Engineering.* *Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:* - Technical expert in field. - Proficient understanding of software development lifecycle and process. - Proficient understanding of the interdependencies between hardware and software. - Ability to estimate cost and schedule of software development program. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Understanding of C++/C# - Plus: Working knowledge of HP Quality Center - Plus: Development background with C++/C# and Visual Studio Thanks Abhishek [email protected] Apetan Consulting LLC -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
