(need local to CA) Duration: 12+ month contract* ** *Best Rate : 45-50/hr on C2C* ** *Successful candidate has experience in vendor management, license management, and formal written correspondence with vendors.* ** *Job Summary: This position will be part of the IS Service Management team within IS Service Management & Governance and will be responsible for contributing to the efforts in reporting, monitoring, measuring, processes in the Service Management area. The focus will be on transitioning vendors that support IS, as part of Supplier Management activity. However, responsibilities may shift to focus primarily on specific processes within the Service Management area as needed by the department and/or career growth of the incumbent. * ** *This position will require excellent information gathering and analytical capabilities to use in the measurement, reporting, and assessment of processes across IS functions. This position will also be required identify, measure, and assess key performance metrics to ensure the processes are working properly and to recommend corrective measures. * ** *The position will reference standard operating practices and policies across IS and may help provide training for IS staff in the uses of the processes and system tools used in support of the processes. The position will monitor adherence to the processes and recommend exception handling guidelines, escalation guidelines, and any other operational controls which would promote process adherence and improved operations. * ** *This position will be required to attend or facilitate meetings of cross functional IS and supplier support groups. The position will be expected make recommendations for improvements in documented practices and reports. A focus on performance metrics delivery and development of continuous improvement actions will be important success criteria for this position. * ** *This position may be expected to mentor new department staff members. The position will also assist in the development and delivery of Service Management communications directed to all IS and supplier support staff. * ** *Preferred Qualifications: • Experience sending and tracking letters to a large set of IS vendors (notifications, consents, transfers, etc.) • Ability to independently track and report progress of completion of letters for a large set of IS vendors.
