This is Sharon (Senior Executive Recruiter) from Sonoma Consulting, We are looking for a *Storage Migration Admin**/ **Chicago, IL**,//**6 month contract* *Role: **. **Storage Migration Admin* *Locals : **Chicago, IL* *Length: **6 month contract* Required Skills: · 3 or more years of EMC storage experience · Experience working in 24x7 complex, highly-secure, highly-available, datacenter environments operating within the realms of strict Change Management processes. · Candidates must be client focused, able to work independently while interacting across different teams to accomplish projects. · Experience with supporting Open Systems, Enterprise SAN and NAS solutions • Experience with UNIX (Linux, AIX, Solaris), VMware or other hypervisors, and Windows operatingenvironments • Experience with storage configuration, volume management and path management software tools (LVM, Native MPIO, EMC PowerPath). · Experience with disaster recovery as it relates to storage systems and data recovery techniques, including disk replication, snapshots and disaster recovery best practices • Intermediate analysis and troubleshooting skills for the end-to-end storage and backup stack (VMs, hosts, SAN switches, Storage devices) · Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong inter-personal skills • Able to multi-task. · Assist in change management processes • Vendor contact for routine, documented incidents as well as operational problems · Resolve incidents and problems in accordance within defined guidelines and meet operational level agreements · Implement change requests and meet project deliverables within defined guidelines • Experience acros multiple operating systems to include: o Linux o Solaris o AIX o VMware hosts · Experience with host connections across X86, Oracle/Sun, and IBM AIX Hardware • Experience with Multipath I/O technologies • Experience with VMware Sharon Kolluru - Sr Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
