I am the Senior Executive Recruiter at Sonoma Consulting and I am currently working to fill a role for a *Desktop Management Specialist/System Designer, Chicago IL**//**12+Months* *Title: **Desktop Management Specialist/System Designer* *Location: **Chicago- IL* *Duration:**12-+Months contract* *Job description:* · The Desktop Management Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting server based desktop management systems in an Enterprise environment. · Skills Required: Experience designing, deploying and supporting SCCM 2012 · Experience designing, deploying and supporting Xendesktop 5.x environments · Experience working with *Citrix Provisioning Server* · Experience working with Citrix EdgeSight · Experience with Wyse thin client technologies Development of automated Windows installation · Extensive engineering experience with Windows, Windows registry, Windows policies · Extensive experience with Active Directory, additional experience with Novell a definite plus Development of virtual desktop images · Experience managing Windows Desktops in Enterprise Environments consisting of 5,000+ endpoints. · Experience creating solutions and provide 3rd level support to extended 2nd level support technicians across multiple geographic locations. · Candidate should possess excellent written/speaking skills, project coordination skills, and have strong customer service skills. · Ability to prioritize between multiple tasks Additional skills: This individual should have very strong experience with Citrix products listed. .
