Please send resume to [email protected] TITLE: Java Developer LOCATION: Redmond, WA DURATION: 8+ Months * * *DESCRIPTION: * As a Java Software Engineer, you will participate in the maintenance of a framework-based system that encompasses of a variety of enterprise patterns. You will also implement and integrate new solutions within that framework for specific deliveries. You will be expected to work with architects, senior engineers and domain experts to understand existing architecture, requirements, system design, and to implement components or complete sub-systems. You may document and analyze use cases, develop solid software designs, and communicate those designs using patterns and UML. In this position you will: Work as a Java Software Engineer on maintaining a framework-based system and developing / integrating solutions within the framework Analyze and understand requirements. Participate in the documentation of software design documents. Participate in the development of those designs. Requires limited travel, 2-3 times per year. May be required to work extended hours, carry a pager/cell phone and be on call. The following requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position. Experience with Hibernate/JPA. Experience with jBPM or similar business process orchestration framework Experience with JMS and message-driven component interaction Experience with Google Web Toolkit Experience with JBoss EAP Experience with Web Services (REST and SOAP) Experience with EJB 3.X Experience with distributed computing in high-throughput systems Experience with real-time and near real-time systems All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position. *General Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Minimum 4 years experience working with Java (additional experience in other programming languages preferred). Experience with object-oriented design. 4+ years of proven software development experience. Effective written and spoken communication skills.
