Required Skills Very advanced *SQL* - The candidate will need to pass a complex written test Stored Procedures UDF's Triggers Referential Integrity Programming Skills in at least one procedural language and one Object based language *AIX* UNIX - advanced scripting skills Perl programming All Connection types. Pooled connections, ODBC, JDBC, etc Solid 3 tier and N tier knowledge - Knowledge of Tuxedo is a Plus Demonstrated experience in tuning *SQL* objects and performance Tuning the database Advanced knowledge of query plans produced in UNIX environment Advanced knowledge of visual query plans produced by a windows based tool such as Quest or Toad Advanced knowledge of IBM command center and supporting tools. Advanced knowledge on *DB2*memory management Prior experience in a development environment.
