About the team: This position reports to the Director of Systems & Storage administration and will be responsible for providing systems support for the production and development environments. Responsibilities: * Responsible for ongoing management and maintenance of the development and production environments, including: o VMware/OVM assets o Windows assets o UNIX assets * Perform necessary system maintenance in accordance with company change management policies. * Ability to troubleshoot complex issues * Recommend changes to procedures and architecture which result in operational optimization * Participate in Root Cause Analysis reviews when applicable * Document existing infrastructure Basic Qualifications: * Education- BS in CS or related field * 5-7 years of experience in a SaaS environment- preferred supporting Oracle Hardware (Sun) and Software * Experience in a SW Development support role * Strong experience with Windows VM hosted on VMware ESX or Oracle Virtual Manager OVM * Strong experience with Windows Administration (virus scanning, DHCP, CIFS etc.) * Strong experience with Linux Administration (RedHat, SUSE, and/or CentOS/Ubuntu) * Strong experience with AWS hosting * Experience with Active Directory and LDAP (Centrify) * Experience with Enterprise storage (NetApp, Oracle, EMC) * Knowledge of MSSQL/MySQL, Tomcat/Apache, IIS * Knowledge of ZFS, NFS, RSYNC, DNS, SMB, CIFS * Good scripting and automation techniques * Good understanding of network components * Strong communication skills are required * Ability to take initiative, lead technical peers, work with SW development customers * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, build and execute technical project plans Desired Qualifications: * Experience in a SaaS environment * Knowledge of Solaris & Linux Operating Systems * Experience with VmWare vCenter, ESX, vCloud * Knowledge of Oracle virtualization techniques OVM/OVS and Zones * Knowledge of Oracle OEM OpsCenter * Knowledge of Oracle OVM * Knowledge of Oracle UFS Storage devices * Experience with Manage Engine monitoring * Experience with working in a hosted environment a plus -- Thanks Nikhil Prasad [email protected] 201-620-9700*130 Apetan Consulting LLC -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
