Please revert me back if you feel comfortable for below position. *QA Lead* *Eden Prairie, MN* *Duration:6 months* What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? New capital projects currently in the works (no specific project numbers at this point) but hot items. We have an influx of billable projects coming down the line that we need to staff up for Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team? Team member If so, please describe the team? (Name of team, size of team, etc.) 1 team is a dev team responsible for new app development, 1 team is a reporting team responsible for new report development What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) 1. The basic QA skills are creating a test plan, identifying test cases, preparing and executing test scripts, and managing defects. The right candidate will be proficient at these. 2. A person who has experience with QA will be able to describe the difference between different types of testing (regression, system, integration, performance, user acceptance, etc.) 3. Ideally, the candidate will have experience with a system like HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), used to manage all of the required testing artifacts. 4. We use Toad for Oracle to write and run SQL queries against large data tables. Experience with Toad would be a plus. 5. We work closely with a team in India. Experience in a global environment would be nice. 6. We are being asked to adopt Agile methodologies. Agile experience would be a bonus. What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? 1.
