*Location is Albany, NY* *Duration is 18 months, * *Phone or skype(USC or GC OR EAD’GC)* *Tasks/duties:* Development of asset management analysis tools primarily focused on Bridge assets Development of analysis tools to best manage our infrastructure assets. This includes the analysis of asset data that is collected by the Authority and focusing on analyzing the bridge inspection data using both the historical 1-7 bridge inspection scale, and the new AASHTO element base (1-4) bridge inspection scale. Developing service life expectations and methods to merge the data to provide meaningful bridge management scenarios that maximize our capital funds for bridge management. When you read the requirements you will see it is a .net developer with 2+ years experience on bridge and highway infrastructure projects – that will be the tricky part. USC Only*Sr. Java opening in DC but it requires a public trust so could you help with that?* *3-6 months* - Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work. - Maintain a broad knowledge of software engineering and a demonstrated ability to independently work on complex assignments. - Familiar with software development best practices and software maturity models. - *5 – 7 Years of experience as a software engineer is preferred* - Experience with full lifecycle development (requirements definition, analysis, design, development and implementation) - Proven Experience with the J2EE programming language in a web environment including web-based technologies such as SOA/MVC frameworks including design patterns/Struts - Proven Experience with creating specifications and performing related analysis of highly complex information systems issues. - Proven Experience with experience in oracle PL/SQL is required - Proven Experience with experience in writing unit tests is preferred.
