Job Title: PM Business Risk & Quality Management Location: Weehawken, New Jersey Duration: 6 + months Description: Business Risk & Quality Management (BR&QM) is the WMA Wealth Management Advice & Solutions (WMAS) organization that interfaces with our businesses to deliver effective fit-for-purpose risk and quality management solutions supportive of WMAS Management and Business Partners/Control Functions. At any given point, the BR&QM Team is executing against both externally driven requirements and WMAS originating projects, initiatives and ongoing processes. BR&QM also manages the key WMAS Risk Governance Forum, the recurring WMAS Risk Review Meeting. • Minimum 7 years' experience, with a minimum if 2 years in a Trading environment • Project management experience in Fnancial Services specifically trading (ideal) or capital markets (specifically Market Risk Management) • Series 7 and/or MBA is Nice-To-Have • Project management, business analysis & coordination skills; ability to work on a wide range of projects and activities simultaneously • The ability to work in virtual teams leveraging immediate colleagues and others as necessary • Experience in risk, audit, regulatory or compliance environment, with a combination a plus • Experience and knowledge of financial products and their development life cycle management (Capital Markets experience a plus) • Awareness and knowledge of national and international industry wide risk related initiatives and structures (e.g., SOX) • Proven communications skills (written/verbal) and the ability to present and negotiate complex issues at all levels through senior management • The ability to challenge and be challenged • Strong excel skills • Trading risk management experience a plus • Additional financial services education or qualifications a plus • Series 7 license a plus • MBA a plus Thanks, Arjun D -Sr Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
