Position: Sr. Oracle Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 12 Months Contract
I have a couple of openings for a Oracle Developers to work on. One is a
senior level role and the other one is not as senior. This contract is
slated to go through the end of 2017. The candidate will need to be on
site in Boston. I am including the job description below for you to look
at.
*2 Postitions:*
1 Senior Oracle Developer (Senior Consultant) – 1 Oracle Developer
(Consultant)
about 3 - 6 years of productive experience in the area is what is needed
*Requirements:*
Expertise in PL/SQL collections, analytical functions and Oracle
XML features
Experience working with PL/SQL CLOB and BLOB data types
In depth knowledge and hands on experience on usage of Oracle
tables and index partitioning
Knowledge of Explain plan usage for performance improvement of the
SQL queries
Experience interfacing with Java components
Experience in Oracle/Unix scripts (Lower priority for Conultant
role but still required)
Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical
skills.
Ability to work both independently as well as within a team
Knowledge of testing and quality assurance methodologies(Lower
priority for Consultant role but still required)
*Other requirements for this role:*
Analyzing business requirements and application code
Developing, testing and deploying code
Production support as needed
Agile experience is a plus
Financial Industry experience is a big plus
