Duration : 6 month contract Rate : $55/hr Corp to Corp Job Description: Storage/SAN Administrator Contractor position requirement: The primary responsibility for this position will be to administer and provision storage from EMC Celerra NS960 and NS480s. Experience with 3PAR T-400s, 3PAR T-800s, EMC DMX-3s, EMC DMX-4s, and HP EVAs a plus. Participate in the planning and execution of the migration of existing storage workload from HP EVAs to Celerra. The primary EMC Celerra hosts include a mixture of ESX-VMs with Linux and Windows Guests. At least 5+ years of hands on EMC Clariion/NS/Celerra storage with ESX VM environments required. Experience with a Brocade SAN fabric required. Storage capacity planning required. Must have in depth working knowledge of Storage/SAN administration and architecture. Unix Admin experience on one or more of the following platforms is a plus; AIX, HPUX, Linux, and SUN. Shell scripting skills are required. Responsible for troubleshooting Storage/SAN issues. Strong organization and prioritization skills. Must have strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Must be able to multitask and coordinate several projects simultaneously. Must work well under pressure and with minimal supervision. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lead, motivate, and execute based on management direction. Must be able to address escalation items and conflicts in a timely, motivational and productive manner. Must be able to produce documentation for processes and procedures.
