*Role: Lead Windows Admin*
*Location: Parsippany, NJ*
*Rate: $60 per hour*
*Client : Pfizer*
 
8-10 Years total IT experience. 
5-6 years experience in supporting Active Directory (Windows 2008 R2/2012).
Expert troubleshooting skills on Active Directory Services. 
Expert skills on service pack and patch deployment.
Expert technical knowledge on Domain, Partition, Replication, DC, FSMO, 
LDAP, KCC, Group Policies, DNS.
Strong skills on networking concepts, Windows Operating System.
Strong skill on scripting, support tools, WINS, FRS, DFS, AD FS, DHCP etc.
Strong skill on performance analysis.
Familiarity working with Peregrine Service Center or equivalent incident 
management system.
Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 
methodologies. 
 
• Execute complex technical activities for End to End Management of the 
global pre-production AD and production AD infrastructure.
• Execute complex technical activities for End to End Management of the 
global pre-production AD DNS and production DNS infrastructure.
• Execute complex technical activities for End to End Management of the 
global production WINS infrastructure.
• Monitor AD, WINS, and DNS based trouble ticket queue during business 
hours.
• Resolve complex issues of AD, WINS, DNS related Trouble tickets.
• Support Pfizer engineering team on complex issues to ensure high 
availability and recoverability of the AD, AD DNS and WINS Infrastructure. 
• Support Pfizer engineering team to Ensure that the deployment processes 
are adhered.
• Planning and coordination with engineering team. 
• Troubleshooting AD related complex issues during any application 
deployment.
• Consultation during any application has to be integrated with AD.
• Quality Checks to ensure policy / data consistency of AD, DNS and WINS.
• Provide management of the application lifecycle for AD, WINS, and DNS 
projects.
• Participate in On-Call support rotation for off-hours support.
• Participate in red call and  OMC trouble shooting calls.
• Support Pfizer engineering team during legacy server migration activities.
• Perform ad-hoc data gathering and exports from Active directory.
• Support Pfizer engineering team if AD is involved in PfizerNet DR testing 
for applications.
• Administer and maintain AD, DNS and WINS application level system 
monitoring and management toolsets for the service per documentation.
• Manage and co-ordinate scheduled downtime and maintenance windows.
• Support Pfizer Engineering team to maintain and support the test lab 
environment used for evaluating enterprise changes related to AD, DNS and 
WINS.
• Perform monthly trend verification of AD, DNS and WINS infrastructure to 
determine bottlenecks and utilization issues (proactive analysis) for known 
problems against the architectural standards.
