Responsibilities for this role will include writing code consistent with the application architecture direction, ensuring compliance against standards and best practices, and troubleshooting source code for anomalies and performance. This is an exciting technical role where hands-on coding expertise is required. *Location:* Phoenix, AZ *Duration:* 1 year plus possible extensions (could extend yearly, up to 4 years) *Interview Mode:* IN PERSON *End Client:* ADOT *Rate:* $60-$65/hour C2C *Citizenship:* Any *Required Skills:* - Modern C#/.NET development - .NET web stack, MVC, Web API - HTML5/CSS3 - JavaScript and jQuery - Strong OO design skills with the ability to apply design patterns correctly - Modern SQL Server/T-SQL programming - Entity Framework - IoC and DI, knowing when/how to apply it - Agile with Kan ban development methodology *Desired Skills:* - ASP.NET vNext - Entity framework 6 but can upgrade to version 7.0 in future. - MVC 6 - Extensive experience in strongly-opinionated modern JS frameworks, AngularJS, ReactJS, etc... - Dapper/ADO.NET Code generation - Deep knowledge of modern web security best practices - Multi-year development experience on enterprise systems - Experience with motor vehicle/transportation/finance software systems They need to be local to interview face to face. The biggest thing for them is the candidate MUST have job stability. They won't even look at someone if their last few contracts were less than a year in length. DMV experience is a major plus.
