Position: C++ Developer
Location: Irving, Tx
Duration: 12+ Months
1. *3 positions – C++ [Primary] and Android[Secondary]; Domain: Video,
Embedded software*
2. *3 positions – C++, Domain: Video, Embedded software*
*Responsibilities*
- Design, build, maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Ensure the applications developed adhere to pre-defined performance
standards
*Skills*
- *For Position 1: C++ is the primary skill and Knowledge of Android is
the secondary skill.*
- *For Position 2: Prior experience in STB, C/C++ and Video domain is
mandatory*
- Good knowledge of shell scripting is required
- Possess working knowledge of IPC communication, Multi-threading and
C++ specific notions
- Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language
specification
- Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and
algorithms
- Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected
environments
- Familiarity with embedded systems design, low-level hardware
interactions
- Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments
- Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN,
and Mercurial}
- Familiarity with continuous integration
