Please send resume to [email protected] Position: Web DEVELOPER Location: STAMFORD, CT Duration: 06+ months *RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Develop software for medical information and imaging products - Design, implement, test, and document applications that use Microsoft and other industry - standard technologies, meeting the requirements established for a given project. - Follow internal processes and procedures - Investigate and resolve reported defects - Close collaboration with component testing team members - Work closely with other staff members to coordinate assignments and communicate status and/or difficulties. - Ability to work independently, provide input, solutions and recommendations. - Perform other duties as assigned. *SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* - BS or BE in computer related field. - At least 7 years experience in object oriented development using Microsoft Windows and Web - technologies. - Specific technical skills - Proficient in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, DHTML, MSXML (XMLDOM, XSL, XPATH), CSS - (Cascading Style Sheets) - Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/10 - Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques - Knowledge of XML and related technologies, such as XMLDOM, XSL, XPATH - Knowledge of UML - Experience in User Interface Development - Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Design - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Strong software development discipline, including software refactoring - Assertive team player with demonstrated initiative. - Ability to work independently, with general direction from supervisor - Ability to meet deadlines. *Desired:* - MS in Computer Science - Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle - Software development experience in the healthcare industry, especially hospital informatics, RIS or - PACS.
