Windows 7 SME
a. Title: Windows 7 Technical SME
b. Description: Provides technical guidance on the design of the
Windows 7 image for Brocade.
c. Responsibilities:
i. Review
requirements for the Windows 7 image.
ii. Provide guidance
on the use / implementation of the various Windows 7 features/functions and
security – e.g., AppLocker, admin rights management, GPO, GPP, BitLocker.
iii. Provide guidance
on the use / implementation of the various Windows 7 upgrade approaches and
tools – e.g., USMT.
iv. Provide guidance on
the use / implementation of application remediation tools for IE8 browser
and executables – ACT, shims, App-V, MED-V, P2V.
v. Provide guidance
on system performance tuning such as rapid boot time, logon profiles, and
system tune-up.
vi. Provide guidance on
the use / implementation of the various associated technologies - e.g., SCCM
OSD, AppSense profile management.
vii. Design and
implement Windows 7 configurations / solutions based on the guidance
provided above.
d. Qualifications:
i. Extensive
experience with Windows XP OS features and functions.
ii. Extensive
experience with all aspects of Windows 7 and related technologies, including
but not limited to
1. MAP, ACT
2. SCCM, MDT, OSD, P2V, WDS
3. DCM (optional)
4. App-V, MED-V, AppLocker
5. AD, GPO, GPP
6. BitLocker and/or other FDE tools
7. OMPM, Office 2010
iii. At least 2 successful implementations of
Windows 7 in mid-size companies (1000+ users).
