*Title: Senior Technical Writer* *Location: Raleigh, NC* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Interview: Phone & Face to Face * *GC, USC Only* *Primary Job Responsibilities :* • Analyze existing and potential content for existing and new information deliverables • Develop applications product expertise by interviewing subject matter experts, performing technical research, and participating in hands-on experimentation • Design and develop information for new or updated solutions • Perform needs, task, and audience analysis • Analyze engineering design documentation and other complex information such as support databases and synthesize into input for information product deliverables • Solicit/coordinate the development • of necessary release definition information to be published about the product at the end of the release cycle • Integrate subject matter and industry expertise across products to produce deliverables that are applicable to diverse audiences • [Potential] Develop expertise in a DITA-based CCMS (IXIASOFT), a DITA authoring tool (oXygen), and a dynamic web help delivery platform *Required Skills * • Bachelor’s degree, first degree, or equivalent experience in Technical Communications • 4-7 years as a technical writer for complex systems • Experience in a single-sourcing environment using structured authoring techniques. • Proficiency with: o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) o Adobe Acrobat Professional (for PDF generation) o Graphics capture tools *Preferred Skills * • Working knowledge and experience of software problem investigation and troubleshooting • Understanding of data warehousing and ERP concepts • Proficiency in DITA and XML editors (preferably in a CCMS) • Desirable software experience o SAP o Structured FrameMaker o WebWorks *Archana* *Technical Recruiter * *Amiga Informatics Pvt.
