I look forward to hearing from you. *Job Title: Cisco Network Security Administrator* *Location- Pittsburgh, PA.* *Duration – 6 months plus USC GC GC-EAD TN* The successful candidate will serve in a key role supporting the Data Networking team in the areas of data network operations and security compliance, risk and vulnerability management. Acts as the lead ISSO for the USS Enterprise Network as part of the Data Networking team. *Responsibilities:* • Contributes to the team support for data network incident and event management including investigation, troubleshooting, reporting , resolution, root cause analysis and corrective action management • Participates as a fully integrated member of assigned project teams, responsible to the delivery of successful solutions • Participates and advises as part of the design of network / security solutions using approved, standard technology in cooperation with peers, vendors and partners • Monitors data networks for performance, security and stability – takes action to identify trends and proactively address issues • Manages Cyber Security compliance roles for the Data Networking team including risk compliance, vulnerability/patching, standard operating procedure & processes, configuration compliance and related roles. • Manages and maintains POAMs • Manages technical hardware / software inventory • Coordinates the Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Contingency Planning processes for the department • Prepares monitoring and management reports, as necessary, in support of relevant responsibilities *Specific Experience Required:* • Demonstrated experience supporting data networking technologies in an enterprise environment • Demonstrated success participating and/or leading complex enterprise-level projects with focus on disciplines related to Data Networking, Network Security, Enterprise Cyber Security and / or Cyber Security compliance • Relevant work experience in the areas of Security Compliance, Vulnerability Management and/or related disciplines *Personal Skills Required:* • Results-oriented member of technical support teams; the successful candidate is a self-starter, able to manage complex incidents, proactively identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions • Excellent time management skills including ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work • Excellent work ethic; willing to extend the extra effort and time required to meet critical deadlines • Strong oral and written communications skills; able to articulate ideas and listen effectively; professionally communicates with all customers, vendors and technical support staff, including remote customers and team members in foreign countries • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills • Accomplished analyst able to manage complex technical problems through identification, design, solution definition and implementation • Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships related to incident management, project coordination, relationship development and SLA maintenance • On call support required, including participation in team on call (24/7) rotation; candidate must be willing to work flexible hours as demanded by outage, migration & on-call activities • Hands-on team member willing to work in heavy industry/plant environments when required (limited) • Minimum Requirements (Requirements that are essential for performing the job): • LAN switching and routing technology in a Cisco enterprise network environment • Wireless LAN support including RF fundamentals, design & configuration, security management, troubleshooting and monitoring *Desired Qualifications: * • Cisco CCNA certification, or greater • Lean / Six Sigma practice (Green belt or greater preferred) • Network firewall management, deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting; Palo Alto support preferred • Hands on experiences using and/or developing compliance and monitoring process using the RSA Archer toolset • Experience with Cyber Security framework (NIST) • Solar winds toolset • Vulnerability scanning and related tools (Nessus) • WAN architecture, troubleshooting and support including Cisco iWAN / DMVPN technology and vendor management, incident management and performance monitoring • Advance IP routing experience, including OSPF and BGP protocol solution design proficiency • Data center network support including Cisco Nexus platform • Internet routing and security • Experience with these additional technologies may be a plus: • IP load balancing technology (F5) • IP Telephony in a Cisco environment including Call Manager, Unity and related platforms • Server administration including Virtualization technology (VMWare/other) • Enterprise storage solutions including SAN / FCoIP / iSCSI and related technology -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
