I look forward to hearing from you. - *Job Title: Sr. IT Application Programmer-*10 years of experience - *Location- Production and PI* - *Duration – Contract until December 2017 (REMOTE)* Must have extensive *print format* experience and some knowledge of the PB systems The individual will be responsible for taking new or existing client data and resources and configuring for use on Pitney Bowes PI/Enterprise Manager systems thru the use of profiles, set files, config files and or PI/Output Enhancement scripting. Also expected to implement automation scripting where required and provide detailed workflow documentation for internal, external, and compliance purposes. *Responsibilities:* - Have a strong overall knowledge of various print PDL formats including AFP, PDF, PS, PCL and LCDS/ MetaCode. - Experience setting up jobs on Pitney Bowes PI/Output Manager and PI/Enterprise Manager platforms. - Understanding of high speed production printers including continuous, cut-sheet and color devices. - Work with client outputs and resources, setting up jobs on Emtex server platform for release to production printers. - Write application programs to support data and print normalization and automate job onboarding and scheduling - Create and monitor Job Schedules supporting the onboarding and production of print. - Create automation scripts to support daily production - Act as SME on all Emtex technical aspects including attending existing or new clients calls and providing technical guidance to client to ensure smooth transition of outputs to the center. - Document internal and external workflows - Coordinate Novitex IT and Operations to complete automation processes between datacenter and operations facility *Qualifications:* - 10 years of experience working with Print streams in a production print environment - Experience using Pitney Bowes Output Manager and Enterprise Manager Software or like print management platforms - Experience with LPR, MVS Download and or JesConnect configuration on print server platform. - Experience with profile and job ticket creation on Emtex systems. - Experience submitting jobs to high speed production printers - Experience with scripting language(s) such as batch, vB script, powershell, etc. - Experience with high level programming languages such as C++, Java, .Net, etc. - Experience with databases such as SQL, Oracle, Access, etc. - PI/Output Enhancement scripting development experience preferred but not required - Experience documenting technical workflows - Strong knowledge of a variety of Operating Systems (e.g. Red hat, Windows, MacOS, Linux and UNIX). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
