Please send resume to [email protected] Title: Data Analyst Location: Houston TX Duration: 06+ months *Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following*: - Maintain a central repository for all business rules, validations and algorithms applied to usage and ancillary data for various North American Retail Electric Markets in support of pricing, billing, supply forecasting, supply origination, and sales - Understand formats and retrieval processes for customer usage data acquisition in all active North American Retail Electricity Markets - Identify ways to increase speed and accuracy of the usage data acquisition and distribution process through automation - Work with respective vendors and other third parties in order to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data received - Ensure consistent data is distributed for each service account to various stakeholder groups within the business - Help to develop national standards to be followed for acquiring and processing usage data going forward - Work with internal Constellation teams to develop business rules by utility for cleansing usage data in various formats for prospect and customer accounts to meet specifications of these internal clients - Transcribe source data into business rules that will transform the data to the desired end state for various constituencies within Constellation - Communicate and troubleshoot data issues to vendors, third parties and ISO/RTOs *Qualifications (Experience, Competencies, Skills, Education)**:* * * Requires a Bachelor’s degree and/or an equivalent of experience and education. At least one year of experience in the deregulated electricity industry is preferred.
