Title: Teradata Database Administrator
Duration: 3 + Months
Location : Austin, TX
Description:
· Total experience 8 years and Teradata data base administration
experience minimum 3 years
· Should have the architecture knowledge on appliances 2550 and 5500.
· Participate in team meetings and provide technical knowledge.
· Design and implementation of all type of database objects.
· Good physical implementation knowledge and experience.
· Should know all functionality of application DBA.
· Performance monitoring.
· Performance tuning ( both SQL and database tuning ) Trouble shooting.
· Space design, load design, capacity planning.
· Work load management ( throttle, filters in 2550 and DWM in 5500 )
Should have the hands on experience of all Teradata DBA tools and utilities.
· Should have the knowledge of all Teradata development tools and support
ETL developers in case of problems.
· Client software installation.
· Routine housekeeping and routine hardware usage report generation and
analysis Directly work with Teradata corporation in case of system logical or
physical break down.
· Implementing data security.
· Archive strategy, archive, restore and copy ( ARC ).
· Creating TRM views and mapping to TRM application.
· Trouble shooting TRM campaigns and communications.
· Hands on experience on MAU.
