Looking for "JavaScript Guru
Looking for a "JavaScript Guru". Some other technologies will be involved in
the position and used by this person, but the need for expert level
JavaScript skills/experience is orders of magnitude higher than
HTML/CSS/.NET/etc. This means that candidates must have an understanding of
the JavaScript language and not just the ability to look up reusable
JavaScript blocks, and not just have experience using JavaScript for UI
verification. This is an opening for someone who can perform true building
of JavaScript components.
REQUIRED:
Successful candidates should understand the following:
Object-oriented JavaScript
JSON
Ajax
DOM manipulation and DHTML (building UI elements
dynamically/programmatically)
jQuery (utilizing the library, creating widgets using the jQuery UI Widget
Factory, etc.) or other JavaScript libraries
REST API consumption (making rest calls into our platform to retrieve and
persist data)
Validation (understanding of client side validation as well as security
issues like XSS (cross-site scripting))
Cross-browser compatibility issues
