Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 18+ Month Contract
Interview: InPerson after phonic*
Production Support DBA
Oracle 10g support
very good knowledge streams rac dataguard, rman scripts
Database Administration on Oracle 10g and above, RAC, Streams, Dataguard &
RMAN
Advanced knowledge of DataGuard
Hands on experience on oracle streams and Golden Gate.
Intense production database experience, including on-call
7+ years as an Oracle DBA, not a database developer
Moderate shell scripting savvy
Performance tuning on large (5+TB) databases
Sufficient architectural knowledge to prevent unsustainable platforms
from reaching production
2+ years RAC/ASM experience
RDBMS tuning experience (Oracle 10g or 11g).
Strong knowledge of unix
Hands on experience in writing shell scripts
Problem debugging skills and interacting with Oracle support
Excellent, clear communication
Ability to distill complex problems into discrete action items
High tolerance for unusual work hours
Ability to work well with distributed resources
Follow-through
Attention to detail
Serious multitasking & organizational skills
Ability to not make the same mistake twice
