Job Title: ClearQuest Schema Designers Location: San Diego, CA Duration: 12+ Months Contract* Description: We are actively seeking an IBM Certified (or relevant experience) ClearQuest schema designer to build a set of discrete functions in our primary ClearQuest schema using the PERL and Visual Basic interpreted languages. A fundamental/expert understanding of the IBM ClearQuest architecture and IBM ClearQuest Application Programmers Interface (API) is required. The candidate should be able to show mastery and previous successes of designing stateful and stateless record types, including form, hook and action development. After the initial ClearQuest schema work is complete the candidate's expert PERL/VB skills will be leveraged to improve business critical algorithms used during the software and firmware build and release automated systems. Excellent communication skills and excellent organization skills are required for success. Candidate will work within a small and nimble team of IBM Certified Configuration Management/Automation Specialists. Job Requirements: 1. BS in Computer Science or higher degree. 2. Expert knowledge in the PERL interpreted language. 3. 2-5 years of experience developing ClearQuest schemas 4. 2-5 years build & release management for software/firmware/embedded/web applications. 5. Excellent communication skills. 6. Excellent organization skills. 7. Proven experience with IBM ClearQuest 7.0. Optional: 1. Relational database/SQL knowledge, (Microsoft SQL Server). 2. Good knowledge in programming language C, C++ or Java. 3. Understands operating system concepts. 4. Linux & Windows System Administration skills. 6. Experience With IBM ClearQuest 7.1.0.2 or later.
